Skiing!

This year hasn't been what most people would refer to as "epic", but we've gotten several good ski days in.
Markus has gotten to experience Schweitzer in all it's glory.....i.e. clouds, fog, rain, heavy fog, snow and low cloud banks. Schweitzer is known for several things, fantastic views of lake Pend Oreille (pronounced Ponderay) and the surrounding mountain ranges, unpredictable snowfall and fog. Sometimes you actually bring your camera and it turns out to be a really nice day.
Here are a few selections of the 08-09 season.
Neat facts about the lake: With a surface area of 148 square miles, it is 65 miles (105 km) long, and 1,150 feet (350 m) deep in some regions, making it the fifth deepest in the United States!!
